St Michael the Archangel was built in 1846 by local benefactors; Exeter Diocese and a national association devoted to building and extending churches. The drive at the time was to provide mission and ministry in every community with "free and unappropriated seats for worship for ever" for all parishioners.
Members of our community have worshipped at St Michael's for 174 years and supported the continuing ministry to all in West Hill by prayer, volunteering their time & talents and through giving.
It can only continue if this support is sustained today and into the future. It currently costs over £200 each day, every day of the year to run the parish and we need your help today.
We are most grateful to everyone who is making their usual contributions to the Church during these difficult times.
Our other income from collections and fund-raising has obviously ceased for the time being so if you are able to make a gift to St Michael's this will be most gratefully received. Thank you.
